Daniel Burdett, CAIA

Director, Operational Due Diligence

Daniel joined Aksia in January 2011 and is a Director on the Operational Due Diligence team. Daniel’s responsibilities include performing operational due diligence on European hedge fund, liquid alternative and private market investments, as well as liaising with clients on their operational due diligence queries. Daniel participates in industry events and seminars on operational due diligence and regulatory matters relating to alternative investments, and also contributes to Aksia’s Quarterly Strategy Outlook. In addition to his operational due diligence role, Daniel is responsible for compliance oversight and monitoring within Aksia’s London office. Prior to Aksia, Daniel worked in dispute resolution at the Financial Ombudsman Service where, in addition to focusing on FCA regulatory compliance, he specialized in the mediation of portfolio management, equity and derivatives trading disputes. Daniel graduated with honors from Kingston University with a B.A. in International Studies. Following this, Daniel attended BBP Law School in London where he first completed his post-graduate diploma in Law before going on to complete his Legal Practice Course. Daniel has earned the CAIA designation.
