Brett Bickford, CFA

Managing Director

Brett is a Managing Director on the Pan-Alts team in the Americas and has over 18 years of experience in alternative investments. He is responsible for alternative investment programs in the Americas, with a primary focus on developing and managing Aksia’s insurance client base, including providing customized investment solutions tailored to the specific needs of insurance companies. 

Prior to joining Aksia in 2026, Brett was a Vice President within the Global Alternative Markets team at Liberty Mutual Investments where he helped manage and source relationships across the alternatives markets universe. Before that, he served in senior insurance relationship management roles at Wellington Management and held earlier positions at Eaton Vance and State Street.

Brett graduated from St. Lawrence University with an BA and holds an MBA from Boston College. He is a CFA Charterholder and holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
