Sat Joshi

Managing Director

Sat is a Managing Director on Aksia’s Private Credit team, where he focuses on sourcing, evaluating, and executing investments across the credit spectrum, including direct credits and co-investments, as well as primary and secondary opportunities.  He also focuses on portfolio construction and manager selection and partners with a broad group of global institutional investors.

Sat has over 20 years of investment experience across public and private credit and equity markets.  Prior to joining Aksia in 2025, Sat served as Chief Strategy Officer at Bellrock Brands, where he led the firm through a debt restructuring and operational turnaround.  He has held senior investment roles at Hillhouse Capital Group, Incline Global Management and Ziff Brothers Investments, sourcing and executing public and private investments across the capital structure. Earlier in his career, Sat was an Associate at Apollo Global Management, focusing on middle market private equity and private credit investments. He began his career as an Analyst in Lazard’s Restructuring group.

Sat graduated from University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce with a BS in Commerce.
