Shunsuke Mitsumoto

Shunsuke is the Head of Compliance Japan and is responsible for legal and compliance oversight of the Tokyo office.

Prior to joining Aksia in 2020, Shunsuke was an Associate at Nishimura & Asahi, where he was responsible for asset management and dispute resolution, and handled M&A, labor, and consumer cases. Shunsuke was also a Foreign Lawyer at K&L Gates LLP, and before that he was an Auditor at Akabori Social Welfare Corporation.

Shunsuke graduated from Rikkyo University with a BA in Political Science. He received his JD from the University of Tokyo School of Law and completed an LLM in Banking, Corporate and Finance Law at Fordham University School of Law. Shunsuke is admitted to the New York and Japan bars.
