Melissa Grant

Managing Director, Head of Product Strategy

Melissa is a Managing Director and Head of Product Strategy. She is responsible for the development and launch of Aksia’s investment offerings, with a focus on product design, fund launches, and investor-facing strategy. Prior to assuming this role, Melissa served as Co-Head of Real Assets, where she contributed to investment programs including portfolio construction, risk management, and manager evaluation. Melissa teaches and helped design ILPA’s “Real Assets for the Limited Partner”, a one-day, deep-dive seminar offered to ILPA members.

Prior to joining Aksia in 2021, Melissa was at Aquiline Capital Partners, where she was primarily responsible for the firm’s investor relations efforts. Before that she was a Vice President in the Infrastructure Investments Group at JP Morgan Asset Management, where she primarily focused on investor relations. Melissa was also an Associate at Lexington Partners L.P. and started her career at Stepstone Group L.P.
 
Melissa graduated cum laude from Brandeis University with a BA in Economics and holds an MA in International Economics and Finance from Brandeis International Business School.
